EXP2 Final Submission
1a.) Cryengine File

2a.) More Axonometrics
3.) 36 Textures
4.) Final Animations
4a.) Draft Animation
5.) 5 Real Time Image Captures
With the concept of integrating with the natural environment I decided to make the model specific to the landscape. The structure is based on the Seattle Public Library, a famous project by Rem Koolhaas. The prism-like interiors of the library gave me the general conceptual outlines.
The Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe Monument
The Meeting Place does not offer direct access to the monuments, however the monuments are not meant to be accessible to be appreciated. By standing at this point the viewer can really sense the scale of the monuments while gaining a comprehensive 360 degree view.
The Landscape (Day)
The general landscape is comprised mostly of snow, this representative qualities of snow as 'cold' and 'lonely' really allows for the monuments to stand tall and differentiate amongst the natural surroundings
The Landscape (Night)
The immense lighting upon the western cliffside allows for a intense source of illumination at night. This is based upon the concept 'a monument never sleeps'

The Ludwig monument is based upon the concept of details being monumental on top of its natural integration with the cliffside environment. The structure and details gives tribute to the Monument to Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht. The distinctive red lighting artificially implanted recognizes the theme of Communism apparent in Ludwig.

2-8. Interactive Animations
As I developed my Cryengine environment I wanted the viewer to be able to actively interact with the environment, so I have shot some short clips to best show this sense of 'experiencing the architecture'
