A) Creative Work, B) Piece of Architecture, C) Original Photograph

A) Creative Work
This is a sketch from a old art class, during my time in this class I found myself preferring to draw buildings and landscape. This is where my interest in architecture first took shape, as my first architecturallu orientated sketch this drawing signifies the roots of why I am in this course. This sketch in particular reminds me of a significantly earlier time in my life without direction or focus, the period where my passion for architecture first sparked. This nostalgia is what allows me to find pride in this particular piece of work.

B) 'Great' Piece of Architecture
This is a exterior shot of the Dymaxion house, designed by the famed architect Buckminster Fuller. Created to address conformist homebuilding techniques existent in the 1920s the Dymaxion house is designed to maximise efficient use of resources while maintaining durability in a wide range of environments. Aesthetically speaking most people would consider it ugly, however its efficiency in resource implementation and ease of assembly almost makes it 'beautifully ugly' in my perspective.

C) Beautiful Photograph
A photograph taken of the Elizabeth Bay wharf. This photo has a nice contrast between the water and the wharf, the combination of the shallow waters and the subtly pale sky allows for the wharf-side buildings to pop out amongst the background. The perspective also allows the viewer to get a definitive idea in terms of the scale of the wharf. Scenery like this is what inspires to one day design my own house of the Sydney waterside.
